Summary
Reverend Deacon Alcor Polaris and Reverend Father Cain Ashveil were two opposite sides of a coin. Too different and too alike to get along. However, it’s only the two of them who would understand each other fully. It was Alcor who would always ensure Father Cain eats on time. It was Father Cain who would always forgive Alcor for anything and everything. Alcor knew it was a part of his job to care for Father Cain, but why does the priest care for him? If anything, Father Cain should have loathed him. Alcor accepted it that he wasn’t Father’s most favoured deacon, he had all the reason to not favour him, but to be his most trusted? It’s as if Father Cain is asking for a death wish. This all confuses Alcor, so much so to the point he rethinks on how he truly feels for Father Cain…
