All Jet wanted was to live a semi-mundane life.
Straight mundane was well out of her reach as a Domann witch and the chosen Arbitrator of Supernatural Affairs in the American Northwest of the human realm, but semi-mundane seemed to be within her grasp. At least it had been for the last ten years she's been estranged from her only remaining family. She'd happily lived her semi-mundane life, running her grandmother's inn, keeping the peace between the human realm supes and the Other realm's bullshit bureaucracy, and absolutely owning her role as Forks, Washington's local eccentric. Hells, she even flirted with Charlie Swan now that he was divorced and she couldn't be a broodmare for some asshole Fae noble.
Naturally, her older sibling had to ruin it for her and catapult her happy semi-mundane life straight back into their Otherworldly bullshit by getting kidnapped (possibly murdered) and dumping their child (that Jet didn't even know they had) on her doorstep like an asshole.
Now Jet has to figure out how to deal with a clearly traumatized eldritch abomination-fae hybrid child. She's barely managed to figure out how to take care of herself, how's Jet supposed to take care of a child!?Series
