Summary
Hermione looked at him, and she shouldn’t have. He was devastatingly beautiful, and that was the crux of it all. At first glance, he resembled a captivating present, its external allure wrapped in the finest of tissue papers and the silkiest of ribbons. However, once unveiled, it revealed its sinister nature: an alluring package imbibed with the most lethal of poisons. Exquisitely disguised. Death would descend upon you before you could fathom its approach.
When a form of ancient, near-forgotten magic saves her from meeting her tragic destiny, Hermione Granger finds herself navigating the forties with one goal in mind: to definitely destroy the cause of her ills once and for all. But when strange, fragmented memories, soaked in old magic, let her glimpse a lost, unreachable past, things turn out to be more complex than she initially thought. The closer she gets to the truth, the harder it becomes to carry out the one thing she came to do.
A/N: You don’t need to know anything about Hogwarts Legacy to enjoy this story. All essential elements are explained within the fic. Readers familiar with the game may notice a few subtle references sprinkled throughout. Not required, but fun to spot.

Summary
The Department of Magical Forensics is brand new to the Ministry of Magic. Its existence was a testament to two things: the harsh lessons learned during the Second Wizarding War and the surprisingly deep pockets of a reformed Lucius Malfoy.
Led by Severus Snape, Head of the DMF, and his team of investigators. The team pulls together to solve magical mysteries deemed too complex for the Auror department. What happens when the personal lives of the department head, one Severus Snape, and lead investigator Hermione Granger becomes just as perplexing as the cases they work?
===========
"What in Merlin's name happened?" Snape’s voice was a low, dangerous thunderclap that made both the younger witch and wizard flinch. His eyes, black ice, bored into Draco before flicking to the crimson stain blooming on Hermione's cheek. "No," he bit out, his jaw tight, cutting off any immediate explanation. "I will tend to Miss Granger. Then, Mr. Malfoy, I will expect a full account of precisely how one of my investigators came to be injured under your watch."

Summary
An alternate universe where Voldemort never heard a specific prophecy and triumphed in the First Wizarding War, dismantling the Ministry of Magic and seizing control over magical Britain. The Order of the Phoenix was destroyed, and Albus Dumbledore fell early in the fight, leaving no one strong enough to challenge the Dark Lord’s rule. The Statute of Secrecy remains intact, but Voldemort’s shadow reaches into the Muggle world. The Ministry now serves him, Hogwarts trains the next generation of Death Eaters, and Muggleborns have been nearly wiped out—or so Voldemort thinks.

Summary
After the Triwizard Tournament, Cedric Diggory was believed to be dead—his fate sealed by Harry Potter’s testimony, which claimed he was murdered by Peter Pettigrew and Lord Voldemort. But years later, following the final victory at Hogwarts, Cedric reappears—alive and inexplicably well.
His return, however, comes with unsettling surprises: he now speaks Parseltongue, appears even more striking than anyone remembered (or had they simply forgotten?), and seems to have developed an intense interest in the brightest witch of their age.

Let the world see that she belonged to him.She might not realize it yet, but he certainly did.
He had decreed it—and so it would be.
