There were other men, even women, Yeonjin had played with but she couldn’t even begin to remember who they were. She had never loved any of them. If anyone had ever loved her, she was better off not knowing. The weathercaster was in a good place socially and financially. For Ye-sol’s sake, and her own, she wouldn’t stray from her husband’s side.
That’s what Yeonjin had liked to tell herself, at least.
Ever since she met Dongeun again, she found that she had little problem breaking her own rules.

Would she let cowardice win and lose possibly her only chance of giving Rahu the answer she deserved? Shalom swallowed just a bit of her fear and came to a decision.
“No.” She whispered, watching as a soft smile graced the knight’s face.

Dongeun stroked her thumb across her cheek, still eerily looking into the weathercaster’s eyes like if she tried hard enough, she could burrow past Yeonjin’s eyes and directly see her brain, if better to see the inner-workings of her beautiful, twisted mind with.
At this point, Yeonjin’s bottom lip had started trembling minutely, whether from fearful anticipation or anger, it didn’t matter. The movement swiftly brought Dongeun’s attention to her mouth, chuckling darkly. She slowly tilted her head, in the position to perfectly slot their lips together if she so desired.
Unfortunately for Yeonjin, she did desire. Very much so.
