Kai hovered awkwardly beside the bed, shifting from foot to foot. His usual thin veneer of confidence was fraying at the edges. "So, uh… what’s it feel like? The, uh—" He gestured vaguely, clearly hesitant about saying "drugging" out loud.
Damon finally turned his head, peering at Kai from beneath the pillow. His vision was still slightly blurred, but he could see the tension in Kai’s posture—the way his hands were gripping the hem of his jumper, twisting the fabric.
"Worried about me?" Damon rasped sarcastically.

Tozu drugs some of the students as the next motive. Damon just so happens to get an aphrodisiac, and Kai is there to help.

Emmrich gave a small shrug.
"I wouldn't phrase it in such a blunt manner," he replied, setting his teacup down on the table with a soft clink. Lucanis watched as Emmrich's long fingers curled delicately in his lap. "But yes, in essence. Spite craves physical intimacy. Wouldn't it be worth indulging him, just to find some peace?"
Lucanis felt a flash of embarrassment rush through him. This conversation was a disaster. He looked to the ceiling, wishing he could melt into the floor.
