    30 years ago, Japan made a gambit. Increasing kaiju emergence rates pushed the government to experiment with creative solutions, one such solution still lives today.

    In the modern world, kaiju suits and weapons have made Godaigo Daigo obsolete. Some might find his existence sad, a forgotten hero, left to putter around the third division base, doing odd jobs out of the public eye. But truthfully, he couldn't be happier. If he's useless now, it truly means humanity is getting stronger and we're closer to peace.

    If only it could stay like this forever.
