Summary
Although a bright and ambitious Sister of Sin, Sister Lucero is uninterested in challenging the status quo at the Ministry. When Sister Imperator coerces her to partake in the Ancient Rite, Lucero falls into the circle of the enigmatic Cardinal Copia. The Cardinal proposes a seemingly mutually beneficial arrangement that gets progressively complicated by their own burgeoning desires and the odd relationship the Sister has formed with one of Copia's ghouls. As Copia's true plan unfolds, Sister Lucero unravels the sordid secrets the Clergy have kept masked for generations.
