He inhales, runs his tongue over his chapped lips, and sighs. Steve had explicitly instructed him to socialise, hang out, and have fun. As of right now, Bucky is socialising with the cobwebs and God-knows-what-else in the dingy corner he’s squirrelled into, hanging out with himself, and having fun clinging to the diluted whiskey Steve got him thirty minutes ago.
Bucky Barnes has had an ingloriously horrific six months. He would not be partying if he had things his way, but Steve is ruthlessly determined to return some semblance of normalcy to his life, which, if Bucky's being completely frank, is likely never going to happen.
But then he finds a blonde lump hanging out in the frat house hallway.
