Summary
I've been reading fanfics for a few years now, and I thought I'd finally take the plunge and write one myself! This is just a little one-shot using a self-insert character that I wanted to get written down. Feel free to substitute Margaret for your own name!
In an attempt to replicate the success of Captain America across the pond, "Captain Britannia" was born in the UK. Margaret Hayes became the unlikely personification of the nation after gaining newfound abilities. The two mascots were brought together on tour to promote unity between their nations, sparking a friendship that would stand the test of time. But Steve is not the only new friend she makes; a certain Sergeant becomes more than an ally...

Summary
Nines’ stoic expression softens. For a moment you see the rare vulnerability in his eyes that never fails to make your heart flutter, and you pause momentarily to swallow the lump in your throat. Focus, focus. You could be professional enough to avoid letting your feelings for him interfere with your work.
“Of course, Doctor.”
You press the bandage against his shoulder, willing it to seal faster while you turn what has been said over and over in your mind. Unlike Connor, Nines stayed steadfast to his nature as a machine and deliberately refused to adopt a human figure of speech to describe his processes, citing that it wouldn’t be entirely accurate. Translating ‘some error in the weightage of his priorities’ sounded like it had something to do with emotions rather than logic–that Nines, irrationally, wanted something that involved you more so than ensuring his safe repair.
A horribly injured Nines–at least, by your standards (and not his own)–shows up at your door against all logic.

Summary
And so when he deactivates stasis mode, Connor takes a moment to reevaluate the situation–his physical self still around you as you sleep peacefully in his arms. Perhaps doing so can extinguish the last of this resistance.
According to what he understands, an intimate night as the one he’d spent with you prior is statistically indicative of a close relationship for the average human, independent preferences and variables aside. The psychological profile he has stored of you in his mind also further supports such a revelation–you are unlikely to allow an acquaintance or friend to engage in these activities with you, treasuring romance above potential physical pleasure. Furthermore, analytics examining the feed from last night report a motivation more tied to feelings of love, which point towards increased trust and connection.
Connor wants to believe that your feelings are just another objective to complete–all in the name of accomplishing his mission.

When the lines between calculation and connection blur, will you see the truth—or just another pattern?

Summary
You are a detective from New York who gets transferred to Detroit during the android uprisings to work on the deviant task force with Connor and Hank. Connor is… Connor.
Quickly, you realise that situation is much more complicated than you had imagined. How will your difficult history with androids influence your ability to work on the case? And what about the growing feelings between you and the android sent by CyberLife?
NOT abandoned, but updates are irregular for now. Thank you for your patience! <3
Very, very loosely inspired by the song "Sophie" by Gregor Hägele, but does not contain any references to the song within the story.

Summary
Connor didn’t consider himself prone to distractions.
Everything he did was calculated, efficient, purposeful. But something about the way you carried yourself made him glance twice.
Not out of necessity, but out of interest.
