Harry Potter's fourth year was already off to a miserable start. As if being unexpectedly chosen by the Goblet of Fire wasn't bad enough, now half the school thought he'd cheated his way in. Whispers followed him like shadows, and trust was wearing thin-even among his friends. But just as the tension in the Great Hall hit a breaking point, the doors slammed open with a thunderous crash.
In stormed James Potter. Very much alive. Soaked to the bone, dripping water onto the stone floor, wand drawn and eyes blazing with a fury that made even the professors freeze. Behind him came another figure just as furious, just as bloodied-Regulus Black, unmistakably a Black, but eerily resembling his infamous brother Sirius. The hall fell into stunned silence, staring at the two walking corpses, both smeared with blood and grime, both looking like they'd clawed their way out of hell itself

He crawls back until he falls out of the bed, a pained sound coming out of him, but he keeps going until he’s curled in the corner of the room, golden eyes wide in fear. Something like heartbreak crosses the demon’s face as he approaches him cautiously, like he’s approaching a wounded animal, and Felix thinks that it’s exactly what he must look like right now.
“Yongbok, it’s ok.”
The demon crouches a few feet away from him, hands with his palms up, as if trying to show that he’s not a threat.
“That’s not my name.”
He whispers, eyes trained on the other. He sees shock cross that beautiful face.
“What?”
“My name is not Yongbok, it’s Lee Felix. Who are you and where am I?”

Summary
James Potter is secretly obsessed with Regulus Black—so hopelessly smitten that it’s almost pathetic, really, especially since Regulus seems to despise him.
And yet, here James is, in his final year at Hogwarts, spending hours every day staring at Regulus’ name on the Marauder’s Map. He watches as the younger Black moves through the castle, from the library to the Quidditch pitch, from the Slytherin common room to the Ravenclaw Tower (ugh). It’s stupid, he knows. He could be doing literally anything else—pranking, studying (not likely), sneaking into Hogsmeade, or even just sleeping. But instead, he's here, tracing the tiny inked letters with his fingertips, wondering what it would take for Regulus to look at him the way James looks at him.
He prays to a nonexistent god that, just once, Regulus will notice him.
