    Reva Dendron thought she lived a pretty normal life: born a Squib without the ability to wield magic, working as a barmaid in the Three Broomsticks, after coming to Hogsmeade from the mainland and trying to find her own way inside a world that felt foreign brought its own challenges into her life. What she didn’t count on was that an ancient myth - out of the blue - decided not be just a myth anymore and spontaneously form an unfamiliar name on her wrist.
    One that brought nothing but trouble to her otherwise so quiet and peaceful life.

    This story was written for my own comfort, since at that time there were no Ranrok fanfictions whatsoever – so I wrote one myself. As such, some things might not be to everyone’s taste. Nonetheless, I decided to upload the story to Ao3 for safekeeping and for others to enjoy <3
    Also, this is the longest fic I have written so far, so bear with me if things are a bit confusing or mistakes in plot happen. I re-read this story several times but details might still slip my notice.
