Summary
“You don't know.” Itachi finally speaks matter-of-factly, sounding distraught by this. It is clear that he hadn’t expected such a lack of Intel from Madara.
Seems like Kakashi's little long-term mission is not as much of a well-hidden secret as he had thought. The very idea makes his stomach churn with disgust– the fact that there were heaps of people out there who knew what was his right to know while he didn't was simply nauseating.
Obito’s fists clench at his sides, his voice comes out in a cold, shrilling, growl “where is he?” and Itachi knows just as well as he does that this is not a question that can go unanswered
“I cannot be sure, all that I know is that he disappeared from Konoha a month ago”

He doesn't really have any interest for aligning with other missing-nin, but the man claims to have a lead that he very much so needs.

Kakashi stands back, fingers twitching "some may say,” slowly, he relaxes his posture, stretching with his hands together in a discreet seal and yawning as if it hadn't bothered him “well if that’s it…” Kakashi builds the chakra right under the skin of his hands, ready to release it
"What about this, You’re looking for someone aren’t you?”

Summary
Uchiha’s, as a general rule, were intense.
Kakashi had always been somewhat aware of that, even if Obito had never exactly been the definition of a normal Uchiha. It was a bit more apparent now that they were together though.
