Summary
The man was handsome and dignified in the picture. Dark hair and eyes, complete with a perfect little smile playing on his lips. He looked exactly like he had on the cover of Ruler of my Heart.
“Crown Prince Ivan returns victorious from battle.” Till read aloud.
He’s been fucking isekai-ed.

Summary
The smoke was visible long before the train was. Eponine stood from her crouch and let her cigarette fall from her fingers, grinding the stub beneath the heel of her boot. She pulled up her bandana over her face and jammed her hat firmly over her head, ensuring her hair was safely tucked away. Beside her, Enjolras did the same.
“You ready?” she said.
"Are you?" he asked.
Without another word, Eponine swung herself up into the saddle. “Stick to the plan this time,” she said. “You get the baggage carriage and the safe, I’ll get the passengers. In and out, before Patron-Minette even knows we were here. I am not patching you up if you get shot again.”
Eponine and Enjolras are outlaws, robbing the rich and redistributing the wealth to the town of Les Amis. Grantaire and Cosette are new in town. In Enjolras's opinion, everything was going fine until they showed up.

Summary
So, the protest wasn’t exactly… It wasn’t great.
Ha, Grantaire’s pretty sure that’s the understatement of the decade. It was fucking chaos, that’s what it was. It was people yelling, scrambling to get off the streets and out of the crowd and away from the water canons, and teargas hanging like fog in the air and gendarmes fucking everywhere, and it was-
It was Enjolras, at Grantaire’s side one moment and the next? Just fucking gone. He’d looked, God knows he’d looked, for a flash of golden hair, of bright red jacket, but… nothing. Nothing.

Summary
“What do you think of Grantaire?” he asked.
Combeferre smirked, as if reading right through him. Which he most definitely was not. “He’s nice,” he said. “Funny. Has some valuable opinions.”
“Valuable,” Enjolras scoffed.
“It’s useful to have contradictory points of view at hand, Enjolras. It’s refreshing.”
“It’s mocking.”
“Where is this coming from, anyway? He didn’t even intervene that much today.”
“Accumulated frustration, I guess. He frustrates me. He’s just a frustrating person.”
(Or: Enjolras and Grantaire meet at a party; Enjolras hates him immediately and is pretty sure Grantaire feels the same. Turns out Enjolras can be wrong, sometimes.)
