Summary

Summary
In this AU, Percy Jackson was born in 1929, and became a god in 1947. He vanished from society in 1980, with only a handful of people keeping in contact with him. He isolates himself entirely from the world, is considered lost to most Demi-gods. He doesn't think he is needed, and is more trouble than he is worth.
In 2020 (in a world where COVID doesn't happen), his mother falls into a coma and is dying. At the hospice, he runs into a young demi-god who doesn't immediately recognise him, but who does slowly draw him in.
This is very minor Annabeth/Percy, the story never gets to a point of them dating or anything.
