Summary
Jaskier's start in life was unfortunate, but sadly not unheard of. He was put in a sack, less than an hour old, and chucked in the river. For many in his position that would of been the end of it, but the Yaruga heard his cut off wail and swept him into her loving embrace.
Less than an hour old and Jaskier had already died and been reborn as the newest child of Mama Yaruga.

Summary
Standing in between Aventurine and Ratio, back pointedly turned towards Aventurine in oppressive dismissal, Sunday folds his hands together, and says directly to Ratio, “I wonder if it might be possible for you to join me for dinner this time.”
Still contemplating his sketchbook, Ratio gives an idle agreement.
“Oh, cool, that sounds good,” agrees Aventurine, also. “Where are we going?”
Aventurine wants to make a business deal, Sunday wants to woo Ratio, and Ratio just wants to do his research. The Land of Dreams might be willing to grant one of those.

Summary
Feathers sprouted from the back of Sunday’s head. Little wings, a peculiar genetic mutation. They matched his hair colour and style in a way that almost disguised them, but only almost.
The defining moment of his childhood was when he realised that the wings weren’t to blame for all the damage done by almost.
Proof: there were other winged creatures—his identical twin, Wonweek, for example—who managed to exist without being at odds with the world. Wings and ruined lives didn’t travel on the same genes, apparently.In which: Sunday and his brother, Wonweek, are separated for the first time when they are accepted into different colleges.
Instead of his beloved brother, Sunday starts spending his time with his roommate, Aventurine, and the college's dean, Mr Wood, who has taken a special interest in him.
