Summary
When newly divorced and newly out Stede Bonnet is dragged to a rock concert by his assistant, he thinks it will be a fun night out and a chance to be more social after isolating himself. Little does he know, he is about to attract the attention of the legendary Blackbeard, frontman of Queen Anne's Revenge.
Their meet-cute hits a bit of a snag when an incident at the concert threatens the nationwide tour Blackbeard and his band are about to go on, putting Stede under a spotlight he never wanted or asked for.

Summary
I’m going to preface this with the acknowledgment that this fic won’t be for everyone. I’m going to hurt them and you’re probably going to dislike them (and me) multiple times throughout this story and that’s okay! They will get a happy ending, so keep that in mind when things seem grim.
Stede’s parents take in Edward Teach after his father dies and he and Stede have become the best of friends—their only solace in a house filled with indifference and resentment. When our story begins, they’ve known each other for two years and have established a bond that they know will endure for the rest of their lives, no matter what shape that might take.
This is an obnoxious rich kid turn motorcycle gang AU and will include certain tropes relevant to both worlds. There will be violence. There will be sex work. There will be angst.
But there will be a whole lot more love.
(Stede’s gender identity is accepted and not made into a dramatic storyline because gender is a construct and not only can he do whatever the fuck he wants, but it should be normal and accepted anyway. Okay, I love you! Enjoyyyyy!)

Edward Teach had always felt drawn to acting and spent years of his life working his way up the ladder from obscurity to becoming an A-list action star that was a household name. He had done it all on his own merit and was proud that he'd finally reached the pinnacle of success. However, through it all, he had found himself fighting the nepotism of Hollywood and there was one name that had come against his own time and time again. Stede Bonnet.
Stede had gotten his start in show biz early, driven by his domineering father, he found it was one way to be close to his busy mother. And while it might not have been his first choice, he fell in love with it, gradually taking his place on the red carpet like his mother before him. When a fantasy script crossed his desk he signed on without a thought, not expecting Edward Teach to drag his name through the mud when it was revealed the casting director was white washing the source material.
After a year of keeping out of the public eye, he decides he's ready to step out again and signs on for something completely different in the form of a love story between two men. The only caveat? He's starring opposite of Edward Teach, a man he can't stand.
