Riku allows the ever so slight curve of a smile cross his lips and he shakes his head. No need to go into detail about how he’d known ghosts before. And monsters.
Hell, he’d been one.
But this stranger didn’t need to know that.

Set/written before Re:Mind. Sora comes back after fighting the Lich and rescuing Kairi. Riku can't help but be jealous that Sora's already up for new adventures so soon after his return. He waited an entire year - couldn't Sora give him a few minutes? For Soriku Week 2019, Day 1 & 2: First Time/Distance.
