Summary
It is a truth universally acknowledged that the only reason the figurative walls of Woe-upon-Eden, a quaint little town nestled in one of the shallower Cumbrian valleys through which the river winds on its way north, are yet to fall is that everybody’s favourite doctor resides west, whereas the town’s only funeral director hangs his hat east of Eden.

Summary
It's when the music quietens down— not completely into silence, but enough that Ives could speak normally through the mic, that they make eye contact. Tim noticed, even through the lenses of Ives’ glasses, the shine in his eyes, how slightly out of breath he was, how his face scoured the entire venue, his smile subconscious and addictive.
His smile, something so brilliant, amazing and Tim hadn't known he wished to see it so much, faltered for just a moment when their gazes met and Tim felt a stab of uncertainty crawl through him when Ives’ face turned apologetic, reminders of just the first song punching through their arteries.
“I’m sorry,” he said, and Tim's ears rang with how honest he sounded, Ives’ voice echoing amongst the cheers, but still, his eyes did not leave Tim's. Almost as if giving him a hidden explanation that the rest of the world was not privy to, “Every single song is about you.”
Everything. Nothing.

“A plus? Two loneliness don’t always make a love story, though.”
Everyone’s playing Grandmother’s Footsteps with love. Some people just don’t realise they are. What’s funny, though, is that love keeps playing even when all the kids get bored and go get lemonade.
