Summary
A moment of a fifteen year old's spite lead Sephiroth to sign up for night school without Hojo's knowledge. Only Angeal and Genesis were granted that knowledge if only to help him keep under Hojo's radar. After obtaining his degrees, the next moment of spite was to convince President Shinra to replace Professor Hojo with Sephiroth himself. Somehow, it wasn't a hard sell for some reason.
And then came the fallout. The freedom that Sephiroth thought he would gain shattered as he found information suddenly at his new access privilages. The realization that the nightmare that was his life didn't start or end with Hojo.

The first time one of Tim’s battle wounds seems to heal all too quickly, Bruce startles him by asking about it.
“Uh,” Tim says eloquently, “Er. I suppose it just wasn’t that bad."
Bruce looks past him at the exact point on the floor of the Batcave where Tim had lost like a pint of blood the day before.
“Wasn’t that bad,” he echoes dryly.
[Tim just happens to be a very large, fire-breathing lizard. He manages, until he doesn't.]
