Death has a peculiar way of acting, some would say.
The terror of the wizarding world is nothing more than shards, leftover fragments, of what was once a beautiful soul.
It was funny, for the first 100 years, seeing that 'Lord' all imposing lost in limbo, being prevented from getting on the train and moving on, bumping into other souls, being reduced to dust and returning to pieces, to see the parts of souls trying to come together but in the end break and separate, only to try again and again...
But it was no longer fun, in the end, he couldn't make him pay for the extra work until it was complete.
But Death had more plans for that soul... After all, why give a former megalomaniac a happy ending if he made you work so hard?

Summary
Isagi Yoichi always had a dream: to become the best striker in the world. So... when did it all change? When did he realize that there was no longer any point in that pathetic dream? When... did he stop enjoying the sport he had loved so much since he was a child and become an almost empty shell, with only negative feelings left in his mind?
Since joining Blue Lock, he had gone through all the stages, gradually advanced to world level and made it to the top of the world, but in the end, none of it had any meaning anymore, so he simply got tired. He left his career, his friends and his parents behind and started a new life.
However, after another workday, Isagi returned to his house and realized that it had been broken into. But it was too late. He had been killed. Killed by someone who admired him. And as the blood dripped to the ground during a meteor shower, he wished he could go back and put things right and enjoy soccer again.
So, in response to his wish, he went back in time. He had been given a second chance, and he wouldn't waste it.
He would go back to being the Isagi who loved soccer so much and, once again, he would reach the top of the world to become the best striker of all.
