“Yo, are you fucking insane?” asked Erik, and, between the gun in his hands and the way Thor was staring at him in confused disbelief, a hand over his shoulder, it was clear that he had used it on him once already. Ineffectively, cause Thor was a god - and Tony had just nearly died again, holy shit - but enough to stun him.
“Erik-” started Tony, but it came out a little croaky, and he put a hand on his neck at the pain. That fucking hurt.
Erik seemed to grow further angry, while Thor frowned at Tony. “What fucking business does your ass have, grabbing an unarmed civilian by the neck? Look at how he sounds after less than a second in your fucking paws, were you fucking trying to kill him?”

Summary
After the events of Age Of Ultron, Tony Stark found himself feeling quite down due to his breakup with Pepper and the way the Avengers treated him. Seeking solace and a place where he could feel welcomed, he decided to visit the Billionaire Boys' Club, a gathering spot for billionaires. There, he had the chance to reunite with his old friends, Oliver Queen (pre-Arrow) and Tommy Merlyn. They engaged in a conversation that ultimately led to them convincing Tony that his life had become toxic, and it was time to leave both the team and Pepper Potts.
Not: this is one of my older fics from a time when I had mixed feelings about Pepper Potts, and there may be some slight criticism of her. I have tried to remove as much as possible without altering the story. It should also be mentioned that this fic was written during the events of Civil War, so there might be some inaccuracies in it."
