Summary
Months after Spinel returns to Homeworld, Little Homeworld is thriving.
Little Homeschool is up and running, and The Library is open as Emerald does her best to find stability and routine in her life after Spinel’s terror.
On the surface Steven too is doing well, but underneath lies hidden outbursts, strong feelings and harsh thoughts, all left behind by his past experiences. With new information about his mother’s past and shocking truths coming from gems he hasn’t wanted to talk to in years, everything's adding up too quickly.
Steven is not okay. But he pretends as long as he can, until everything blows up in a mess of Cracked Gems and Pink.

Summary
The Earth has been declared an independent planet as of around two years ago, and everything seems to be looking up.
Emerald finally feels she’s healing, growing beyond her past and looking toward the future in a way she hasn’t been able to before. Everything is safe and secure, and she finally works on what to do with herself in Little Homeworld when it’s finally completed.
Everyone believes that they’re finally in the future, moving on.
But a new enemy has arrived, leading Emerald and Steven to find their newly perfect lives slipping away after a single choice, made thousands of years ago, comes back to show that not everything Rose Quartz did has been resolved as they once believed.
The future was supposed to be happy.
Now everything is falling apart.
