He spoke of Trevisio then. His gravelly voice softened, almost intimate, like velvet dragged across stone. He described the city not as a trophy, but as a lover—cherished, unyielding, and wholly his. Each word dripped with reverence. It was possessive yet tender. He spoke of something he had bled for and would bleed for again without hesitation. His giant, scarred hands moved with a strange gentleness as he gestured. His fingers stroked the air, as if to cradle something impossibly delicate.
His voice wrapped around her. Each syllable hooked her, pulling her to an edge she dared not name. It wasn't just the words; it was the way he spoke them, like each one carried an unspoken promise. His words felt like a lover's fingertips trailing up her spine. The way he lingered on certain phrases—on love, on possession—made her breath grow shallow.
Maker help her, she wanted to be held like that. With the same unyielding devotion, the same brutal reverence.

Hooch blinked, her usual easy confidence faltering for just a breath. Then she rubbed the back of her neck, a sheepish smile tugging at her lips. “Well, if you say so,” she murmured, her voice soft. “But I couldn’t have done it without you.”

Summary
Psychology is an anthology-style exploration of the evolving relationship between Will Graham and Hannabelle Lecter, set within an alternate version of the canon universe. It is still set in the modern world, but in my version Will was born in 1975 and Hannabelle was born in 1965 (which inevitably led me to changing the flavour of her trauma and drive).
Each instalment is a self-contained story, complete with its own arc, yet contributes to a larger narrative. Together, they delve into the characters’ complex dynamics, as well as glimpses into their pasts before they crossed paths.

Based on "Hatal Fart Attack" by Corwalch, "Royal Ward" follows the changes in Harry's life after he gains the personal attention of the Queen, an event which causes Vernon to die of a heart attack. My thanks to Corwalch for permission to write a sequel. Reading "Hatal Fart Attack" first is recommended, but not absolutely required. Please note that this story begins in 1989, shortly before Harry's 9th birthday and several years before Prince Charles and Princess Diana divorced. Warnings may change as the story progresses.
