It’s the fear in her heart seizing her, making her freeze and sweat uncontrollably. She doesn’t want things to end when her life just got better.

Shinonome Ena, the upcoming painter for the royal family, plans to continue her peaceful life in the Kingdom doing the work she loves. But when Akito reveals something one day, her plans fall to the ground, along with a newfound sense of doom for the Kingdom.

Mizuki should have felt upset. It was her choice, her moment. But instead of disappointment, she felt something entirely different—warm, genuine surprise. For the first time in a long while, someone else paid attention to something truly lovely. After all, in her view, most customers hopelessly ignored all things beautiful, favoring blandness.
“Wow… This girl has great taste. And she looks stylish. We’d probably get along…” flickered a thought as her eyes casually studied the stranger.
