The date is June 11th 2020, it’s been about three months since the whole… Shredder incident.
Then they came, splitting open the sky itself, and we were forced from our home again.
We tried fighting.
We tried. And we lost...
But it's not over.
Papa, Draxum, April and my brothers and I are all still together, along with about a hundred other survivors, both human and yokai. As young adults, they run into him in Gotham, of all places. It's a stroke of luck that brings their best friend back to them.
If only it was that easy for the Bats to find the god damn engineer that's been running circles around them while they try to track him down.

William Lancer quite liked his life, all things considered. Sure, the ghosts were more irritating than he’d ever thought possible and his students fell asleep more and more often in class, but he still thought his life was quite tame and simple.
However, when he receives an alert from the school at 1am only to find a heavily injured Phantom on his floor, he doesn’t hesitate to offer his help. Now, on top of becoming Phantom’s recurring nurse, one of his struggling students turn in a creative writing assignment, raising more than a few red flags. But Danny Fenton’s rather concerning story has nothing to do with Phantom… right?
