Summary
Bobby Drake was another matter entirely. Not only was he a completely average, human-looking teenager (when he wasn't completely covered in ice), but he also seemed to be very weirded out by anyone who didn't look like a completely average, human-looking teenager. At first, it didn't bother him much. It's just that after the Professor introduced him to the others, they all kept doing this thing where they liked to pretend they weren't staring at him whilst very obviously staring at him.
His wings shifted for the fourth time in ten minutes, which did not make the staring any better. It was a constant cycle: the staring made him so uncomfortable he couldn't sit still, him constantly shifting wings made the others stare more, and so forth. He stared longingly at the classroom's windows again, trying to ignore the burning stares on his back.

Summary
To any casual outside observer, Nino simply appeared to be staring into space, lost in thought.
But Alya was not a casual observer. Alya was an aspiring journalist who made it her business to notice patterns.
Nino typically didn’t just stare into space. Even when bored out of his mind the boy could not sit still. His head was bobbing or his fingers were tapping out some beat against his desk, or both. He was never not moving.
Nino only got like this when there was something to stare at - namely cute boys. And most recently, a particular cute boy that sat next to Nino almost every day.
Only right now, Adrien wasn’t even there. Nino’s gaze was locked on a billboard - one that featured a dreamy, radiant, carefree teen model with angel wings.
Alya plopped down next to him on the bench. “You got it really bad.”
Nino groaned, burying his face under his hat. “Do you think he knows?”
