Summary
Affection didn’t come naturally to Twilight.
He could perform the usual (or unusual, if that was called for) on honeypot missions, of course. Those encounters were the nearest to affection he’d experienced in years. Decades. He did not count them.
However, as affection was something he neither wanted nor needed, it wasn’t something he thought about.
The ways affection becomes new again, known again, for Twilight over the course of his mission — and for the rest of the Forgers, too.

Summary
When Yor wonders if her hands are good for anything beyond killing, Shopkeeper presents her with an unusual experiment: trying out different forms of art. She is shown to Garden's art workshop where she becomes skilled at woodworking and sculpting. However, many of her creations end up lopsided and misshapen, and in pursuit of creating something perfect, Yor sculpts a "perfect" human and names him Loid.
Imagine her surprise when Yor wishes Loid could speak to her, and the next day, she wakes up to find the statue gone and herself paired with a new Garden recruit; a man with a body like Adonis and a strangely knowing glint in his eye. The fact that he shares the same name as her statue is pure coincidence.

Summary
Just as she pries her head off the bar, the band playing at the far end of the room stops their song and a new voice booms from the microphone.
“I’m terribly sorry to interrupt but…”
Yor whips around to see a man standing on the small stage in front of the band, squinting into the bright spotlights as he leans into the microphone. He looks exactly like Loid, except slightly more disheveled and unlike his usual polished self. Her heart sinks.
Please don’t let that be Loid, she silently pleads.
“I seem to have lost my wife.”
She buries her head in her hands while mumbling curses.
Yor and Twilight learn the truth about each other. Neither of them expected what unraveled afterwards.

For future events, we should be able to maintain this status quo and easily pass as a married couple. The question is if Yor will be able to continue this level of intimacy, but based on her reaction tonight, it didn’t seem too difficult for her.
“Loid?” Yor called.
He turned around to find she was right in front of him. “Yes?”
Of course, Yor has always been slightly unpredictable. I’ll have to—
Before he could react, she pulled on his shoulder, stood up on her toes, and gave him a peck on the cheek.
“Thanks for everything,” she said sweetly.
And then she left, humming happily as she slipped into her room. Twilight stood firmly planted in the middle of the hallway.

…
Twilight is a man of considerable intelligence. Until he isn't.
