Summary
It feels like an entire lifetime since Zdeno was a rookie. He supposes it was, really. He came to North America in 1996. Were the rookies even born by 1996? He does some quick mental math and – no, the rookies were not, in fact, born then. It’s not so bad in Boston, they don’t have any true rookies playing this year. But being in this hotel with the other teams makes Zdeno feel absolutely ancient.
