    Summary

“Hey, Aizawa-sensei?” Izuku asks, and normally he’d be hesitant but he is emotionally invested in getting answers and not even Shigaraki himself can stop Izuku from asking his questions.

“What is it, Problem Child?” Aizawa asks, and wow he sounds tired but-

“Just curious, but, uh...why do you have a shrine of my very much alive uncle in your room?” Wow, maybe Izuku could have worded that better?

    Summary

Aizawa glances from All Might to Midoriya quickly. It sounds impossible—he’s never heard of a quirk that can be handed down like a family heirloom—but at the same time, it makes perfect sense. Midoriya’s inability to use his quirk at the start of the year. The strange, familial relationship between All Might and Midoriya. The slow malnourishment of All Might’s body, like his power was being siphoned away.

    “You’re …” Aizawa begins.

“I’m All Might’s successor.” Midoriya’s proud but shaky voice rings clearly down the empty corridor.

8/13/25- Aizawa finds out about OFA. Also, shinDeku sort of if you squint. Not sure if that's intended, but that how my brain took it. Really enjoyed the fic.

Aizawa finds himself paying close attention to the anxious little omega in his new class, and the aggressive alpha who makes the first kid stink of fear. He doesn't like what he sees.

8/12/25- Alpha Shouta and Omega Izuku share a platonic/parental bond. Really good!

    Summary

The child is not dead. It’s worrying that he’s still unconscious, but. He is not dead.

It is the slumping of Shouta’s shoulders that does it. In his relief, his fingers slip and there is the smallest, briefest press of the boy’s lips against his bare skin.

It’s barely a touch, but it is enough.

Izuku Midoriya’s quirk activates for the first time in fourteen years.

    Bookmarker's Notes

8/1/23- Really enjoyed this. Love the concept of Izuku's quirk and how close he and Shouta are.

8/12/25- Reread. I... do not recall reading this, but my notes say I did. I still enjoyed it again, and again I loved the closeness of Aizawa and Izuku and the concept of Izuku's quirk.

“people talk, aizawa-sensei.” midoriya says quietly. “the word of even one quirkless person on these types of forums means so much to all of us. for you to not only show unconditional support, willingly provide company to people who are ending their life that night, help to keep open safe clinics and give us resources to places who will treat us with civility— that kind of thing is infinitely meaningful to all of us."

    Bookmarker's Notes

    5/19/23- Really enjoyed this one.

8/11/25- Reread. Super good. I like the idea of Shouta realizing the struggle of quirkless people's and being a resource for them. The whole fic in general just hits good.
