“We can’t all conceptualise new planets and life as quickly as you, you know?” Yaz jokes quietly, bumping her shoulder into the Doctor’s as they go. The Doctor scoffs and looks over at Yaz in disbelief, Yaz tries not to panic when she realises how close their faces are.
“You do it all the time! That big brain of yours, there’s a lot in there you know? Very useful, it’s got a good outer shell as well.” The Doctor teases, offering Yaz a lopsided smirk.
“Did you just call my head an ‘outer shell’?”

Summary
With Dan visiting his parents for the weekend, Yaz and the Doctor take a trip to Sheffield to spend some time with the Khans. To Yaz's surprise, and her mother's disappointment, she's forgotten her cousin's wedding happening that weekend and Yaz's attendance is a must.
With a guest already RSVP'd for, Yaz recruits the Doctor as her last-minute date to the celebration. The pair are desperately trying to exercise self-restraint around each other, but the romance-full weekend begins to wear down both their walls.
