Aaaiiiaaawaagh! The cry started again, much clearer this time, as the plant settled. Zhongli cautiously took a step closer. The crying continued, becoming louder and more distressed.
Zhongli walked up to the strange pedestal. He reached out to touch the shoot to find the hard outer shell had softened dramatically. He carefully peeled away the once protective cover and—
A tiny fist wormed its way through the small opening, shocking Zhongli. The small fist was covered in a slimy substance that glimmered in the light. The cries slowed as Zhongli quickly peeled back the remaining layers of the shoot. “Oh my…”
Laying in the midst of the torn shoot shell, cradled by roots, was a small child, less than a year old, with small golden scales decorating her body.
The small child waved around her fists aimlessly as she took in the newly revealed surroundings before focusing on the man standing before her. “Hello there, little one,” Zhongli quietly murmured.
Zhongli finds an abandoned child as he is settling into Liyue to live amongst the mortals.

Summary
"Welcome to a new user experience! You have triggered this interface with the keywords, ‘Stupid game! Stupid devs! I want my f*****g money back!’ You are now bound to the character Tartaglia, the Eleventh Harbinger of the Fatui, codename: Childe! We hope you have an enjoyable user experience and we welcome you once again to Genshin Impact 2.0!”
Those are some of the first words Ajax, starving college student extraordinaire, has the misfortune of hearing upon waking up in a brave new world from what he's fairly sure is a very fatal accident involving water and a shit ton of electricity.
Okay, so he's not dead. That's good. But what's this about him being stuck playing the character Tartaglia? Tartaglia, as in the no-good, one-dimensional, cartoonish villain who met his untimely, gruesome death in the first act of the original game?
Forget this. Like hell Ajax is going to share that fate.
And so begins one man's journey to save himself from his awful destiny.

Summary
Nahida squeezes his hand.
“I sense a great loneliness in you,” she murmurs. “You have recently lost someone important—someone you are not yet sure you can learn to live without.”
Al-Haitham doesn’t reply.
“I understand loneliness,” Nahida says softly. “I understand the pain of having no one but yourself to keep you company.
“In return for my power, I will take your loneliness. You will no longer have to worry about whether you can live without her. You will already know you can.”
(What is a peaceful life if not one without pain?)

Summary
“This must be a mistake. I had requested a single.”
Wriothesley shrugs. “There’s two rooms. Technically, your room is a single.”
“I - suppose that is true? But the intent was that I would not have a roommate. That is, not to say, I presume you are a troublesome fellow. Just…”
Wriothesley almost snorts a laugh. Fellow? Ah, that’s a new one. “I’m actually the repair guy,” he says, gesturing to the television.
“Are you? Oh thank archons, that’s a relief. I really thought—”
“I’m kidding.”
Modern AU in which Neuvillette is a law student, Wriothesley is on scholarship for boxing, and the universe keeps pushing them together. They say opposites attract, right? But are they really so different?

Summary
He pulls at Childe’s locks again, bringing the other’s mouth back up for a searing kiss. Childe shifts, bracing his weight on his right forearm so he towers over Zhongli, brushing a gentle thumb against his cheek. Zhongli feels as if his skin is on fire, every part of him hypersensitive to Childe’s touch—responding earnestly to the other’s actions.
Childe’s hand brushes against his chest, and Zhongli feels the exact moment he breaches his chest cavity, right where his gnosis is held.

Summary
Kaveh wasn't rich. He didn't come from money. He wasn't turning to money anytime soon. He was turning less and less motivated. His skin was always covered in goosebumps, the cobwebs more present in his cabinets than any real food. Tighnari and Cyno were getting worried about him and he knew it.
So, they gathered up a bit of Mora and bought him an early birthday present. Just to serve as a companion for a while. An android- a cheaper one. Marked down for errors. Perfect for Kaveh, who insisted he never wanted something perfect around.
What could go wrong?
