Summary
“As you may know,” Muriel started, “as a human police officer, I can unobtrusively monitor your marriage without raising suspicion.”
Yes. What? Aziraphale stared. “Marriage?”
“On whether it’s being,” Muriel hesitated, eyes cast up as they searched for the right word, “consummated properly.”
-------------
Or, after the Antichrist cancels Armageddon, Heaven and Hell come up with a peace treaty. Traditionally, treaties involve a marriage between representatives of each side. It goes about as well as you might expect.

Summary
“Don’t mention it,” Crowley tried his best to scowl, but the bench was far too small, and he could feel the warm press of Aziraphale’s thigh against his, and it was hard to look at the piano keys when Aziraphale was right there, all sharp aftershave and burning grace. “I mean, don’t. We’d both be in trouble.”
Aziraphale’s gaze drifted down to Crowley’s hands. “Do I know this song?”
-----------
Or, in 1804, Aziraphale finds Crowley in the Gardens of Versailles. With the palace deserted after the French Revolution, Crowley tries out a few crown jewels in the bedroom, Aziraphale might or might not be the inspiration for a sculpture, and they break into the secret wine cellar for some secrets of their own.
There’s only one tiny problem: the miracle blocker on the angel.

Summary
It’s 1946, and Crowley is undercover on the Orient Express to capture an Archangel, Aziraphale is just trying to enjoy an illicit vacation, and the Archangel Hanael – commander of Heaven’s Principalities – is just trying to do an audit of Earth’s new nations.
-------
Or, in which Aziraphale and Crowley try very very hard to convince an Archangel that they aren’t in any relationship of any kind.
This, in theory, should be simple: it is the truth, after all.
This, in practice, goes down faster than a lead balloon.

Summary
For six thousand years, Aziraphale did his best to exist within the strictures of Heavenly conduct. It wasn’t a perfect practice; his relationship with Crowley, just for example, was never exactly what one might call “officially sanctioned,” or even, “particularly wise,” but the important thing was that Aziraphale tried. He wasn’t a very good angel, but he did his best, more or less. Wasn’t that all anyone could really ask of him?
It doesn’t really feel fair, is the point, that in reward for saving the world, Aziraphale seems to be having something of an existential crisis.
