Summary
“Do you think you’re going to get fed up of waiting?”
Disrupted from basking in the warmth that was Kenta, Kim felt his brow furrow as he looked down at the other man. Kenta had not moved. His eyes were still closed, his cheek was still pressed flush against Kim’s arm, and his hands were still tucked in small fists under his chin. Yet, Kim could see the tension. Could see it in the way his hands were pale at being squeezed a little too tightly, the slight clench in Kenta’s jaw making his chin jut out, the crease in his eyelids that had not been there before.
With a calming breath both for his own benefit and Kenta’s, Kim reached over and traced Kenta’s eyebrow gently with his index finger.
“I’m not waiting, sweet.”
Or: Kim and Kenta navigate physical intimacy.

Summary
“Kim, I don’t have any right to tell you who you should or shouldn’t go out with.”
Perhaps that’s what Kenta needed to do – remind Kim that although they had forged whatever this thing was between them; Kim was not tied to Kenta. While Kim had been an anchor for Kenta for longer than he cared to admit, he hated the idea that he was dragging Kim down with him.
“Kenta, I’m giving you the right.”
Or Kim is asked on a date by an engineer from another team and decides to ask Kenta if he should go for it. Kenta is confused.

Summary
Kim’s helmet bag is heavier than carbon-fibre should be in Kenta’s hand, the fabric strap digging into his palm uncomfortably. It’s weighed down by what it represents: Kim’s choice to get some normality back, to return to racing. To step out of a world of super-powers and human trafficking and guns and blood and bruises and hiding and pain. Kenta understands, he really does. But Kenta doesn’t know who he is without all that. Kim has racing, another identity inside his helmet, a chosen path to return to. Kenta has a blank space, unwritten pages, and restless spectres of memory.
Kim leaves for Seoul. Kenta figures things out.

Summary
Modern Seoul, neon at night, rain-slicked streets, smell of wet asphalt and cigarette smoke.
Kim, an ex-bodyguard turned street racer and mechanic, is asked by Alan, an old friend, to take one last job: protect a wealthy client from a dangerous organization. But Alan withholds one truth — the real target is Kenta, the client’s quiet, unreadable assistant.
Kenta, dressed in black and built like silence itself, is not just an assistant. He’s the real bodyguard, and once the weapon of a crime syndicate led by his adoptive father, Tony, who had him trained, manipulated, and cut into obedience since he was eight.
He escaped, reinvented himself, and hid in Korea — under a new “father,” the kind but politically compromised Mr. Han, who took him in for reasons that might not be purely kindness.
But now Tony wants him back, not out of paternal care, but because Kenta is the last survivor of a failed experiment. He carries something — a formula, a code, or a memory — that could destroy Tony’s entire empire of genetic weaponry and “manufactured alphas.”
