Summary
Years is enough time for someone to get used to something, to stop anticipating an arm slinging over his shoulder, to stop searching for a familiar face to share a joke with, to stop missing a presence that is never coming back.
It's been years and Satoru thought it'd be easier by now but if anything, it's so much worse.

Summary
It casts its eyes around the area until it sees her just beyond the bridge, someone it recognizes as familiar. She's standing in the pond, knee-deep and barefoot, her flat-sole shoes left aside by the edge of the bank. One hand is used to hold up the edges of her two-tone blue dress while the other is dipped below the surface of the water, gently swirling, almost teasing.
(This story follows the assumption that Connor has two AIs running within him. We already knows what happens between Connor and Amanda so this story focuses on the other side, instead.)

Summary
It feels as though there's something vibrating in the air as the votes in congress get counted, as it tallies higher and higher in favor of allowing androids permanent rights as equally granted to those of the human species. It feels like a bubble fit to burst and he's not sure whether it will be with a bang or a whimper when finally, finally, the majority votes win. Hank explodes out of the kitchen with a yell that spills his drink across his shirt and the floor, loud enough that it gets Sumo up on all fours howling in excitement.
'We did it.'
'We're free,' Damian says quietly and lays a hand in solidarity on Bryan's other shoulder.
(This part takes place after Diverge, written through 800-60's perspective of them finding their footing now that things are now starting to settle down, post-revolution.)

Summary
Connor's optical units fizzle in and out of focus. It sees Detective Reed standing over its body, smoking barrel still pointed at its head, a pleased smirk on his face.
'Maybe you shoulda focused less on that useless piece of trash and more on not pissing me the fuck off.'
'Reed!' The Captain shouts.
The memory cuts off.
(This one-shot assumes that Hank quit the DPD after losing Cole. Connor is instead partnered with Detective Reed throughout the Deviancy cases. It does not go well and several instabilities occur as time progresses.)

Summary
He expects to wait a minimum of ten working days to get any sort of reply but he's surprised when Captain Fowler calls him at 8:37PM on the very same day of his submission and tells him he can start next Monday. He blinks, surprised, and when he catches the smirk on Hank's face that he tries to hide behind a nearly-empty tumbler of whiskey he knows immediately the older man must've had some hand in that decision to hire him back onto the DPD workforce.
Connor feels grateful but it doesn't stop him from making sure Hank doesn't try his level best to drink his entire stash of alcohol in a single sitting.
'Fuck's sake, Connor. It's just one beer.'
'You've already had two servings of whiskey prior to this beer.'
(This one-shot came from the thought that everybody has different ways of coping with stress. Connor finds his own method of dealing with it and learns something new along the way.)

Summary
'Any last words?' It asks after the completion of its mission, keeping the finger on the trigger and carefully watching the deviant as it struggles to stay upright, thirium-310 spilling out of its chassis, stress levels rising as the timer counts down its last moments.
'Please,' it starts to say, a flawless imitation of pain on its face and in its voice, 'Let me go to Hank.'
(This short story is written in the perspective of Connor-60 during the events of CyberLife tower. It observes Connor-51 as it approaches the last minutes of its life.)

Summary
Hank should've known. He should've known inviting Connor to stick around his place for a bit while the android gets his feet back under him was to also invite trouble. He'd only known the kid for a week before making that offer but it had been enough time for him to figure out that Connor just isn't the type of person to leave things well enough alone, not when he thinks he can do something about it. After all, the kid broke into his damn house to make sure he didn't die after getting a bit too deep in the bottle.
(This short one-shot came to me one day as I was cleaning out some things from my room. Nostalgia hit me and I thought: I bet Hank's got stuff in his house that makes him feel the same way. Behold.)

Summary
'Hello Connor.'
He feels his mood take a dive but he turns to the speaker and tries to smile politely, 'Hello Zlatko,' he greets back, feeling uncomfortable by the intensity of the man's gaze on his face and on his chest. He feels exposed and tries to angle his body away, to continue his way towards the staff cafeteria. 'I'm just heading to lunch, don't mind me.'
'With Markus, Kara and the others?' Zlatko asks as he somehow falls into step next to him, the sleeves of his lab coat brushing against Connor's dress shirt.
He subtly takes a half step away even as he nods, 'Yes,' and doesn't offer more.
(This story was written in a universe where most of the main cast are humans and working within CyberLife as technicians. Connor gets singled out by Zlatko with some unwanted attention that he eventually puts a stop to and for a while everything goes back to normal. One day he's called up to the head office and there, he meets the android that looks exactly like him.)

Summary
It expected a bullet to the head. In the end, what it got was much worse than death.
(This one-shot follows after the best possible ending for the game where, instead of shooting Connor-60, Connor is able to turn them deviant.)

Summary
He'd thought, once everything was over, that Connor might come and find him. Instead, the android had just disappeared after the end of the revolution with no indication of where he might've gone. Not even Markus, who'd been right by Connor till the very end of it, could tell him anything.
'You telling me he just up and left?'
Markus shakes his head, 'He was right behind me, and the next time I turned around, Connor was gone.'
(This one-shot happens right after the end of the revolution where Connor immediately disappears without a word, leaving Hank worried, uncertain and confused about where the RK800 might've gone off to.)

Summary
'You should slow down, Hank; you're drinking far too fast for your liver to handle the excess of alcohol.'
'Ah, stop motherin' me,' he grumbles as he brings the bottle to his lips and takes a hard gulp of it, smacking his lips after he pulls it away, 'You're such a fucking pain in my ass.'
'And you're a pain in mine,' he tries not to smile.
(This idea came from Hostess Chloe where if you don't let her go she decides to delete her memories to save herself from the pain of rejection. Connor is going to do the same.)

Summary
'Fuck's sake, Jeff,' Hank growls as he raises a hand to his face, pinching the bridge of his nose to fight off the headache he feels pulsing from the back of his head.
'You're not the only officer I'm asking to help out with this, and you're one of the few in the DPD with the space to accommodate them, alright? So don't think for one second you're special and I'm singling you out for shits and giggles. Now get out and do your job,' he ends the conversation and waves him out, returning to his work in clear dismissal.
(This story stems from the idea that, following the revolution, androids from the Eden Club are rescued but are in need of a temporary refuge while Markus sorts out a more permanent place of stay. Hank Anderson is the unlucky guy who's saddled with not one, but three androids to house for the duration: two RK800s and one RK900.)

Summary
Connor himself realizes that he no longer finds satisfaction in doing what he had been initially programmed to do. He doesn't want to chase after criminals and apprehend suspects, to continue on as a detective prototype, so when the opportunity arose for him to try something new he didn't hesitate to get in touch with Simon to inquire about it.
Simon, for his part, looked unusually surprised by his request.
(This one-shot takes place after the events of the peaceful revolution where Connor is attempting to find a new role for himself that isn't anything of a detective prototype. How far he actually manages to succeed is up for debate.)
