Summary
Ethan Mallory, a man of science, find out that his wife is sick and cannot be cured. So he spends ten years in a lab trying to creature a cure that will let him and his wife live as long as everyone else. But, when his assistant, Alexis Green, beings to envy the fame that Ethan is going to get, she sets the experiment loose before it's quite ready.
Now the city of Alares, and possibly the rest of the world, is in tatters. Strange creatures infected with this experimental medicine are free to roam and are quite hard to kill.. war is on the rise, and there's no one there to stop it.. or is there?
