The Batfam is kinda toxic in this one but Marinette and Jason are adorable and there is some resolution to the family drama towards the end. Not completely satisfying but good enough.

Summary
Normally, a trip to Gotham wouldn’t be so bad (excluding the whole 'crime capital' part, of course). Unfortunately, Marinette has a father who doesn't know she exists in the form of an enigmatic billionaire and particularly nosy brothers who seemed to be incapable of letting her be.
Marinette had always known that Tom Dupain wasn’t her biological father. She’d never been told just who her real father was, but that had never really mattered to her. Tom had always been there for her, loving her as if he were his own. Marinette would later learn that Tom physically couldn’t have children, so perhaps that was why he’d been so willing to parent Sabine’s toddler when given the option.
“Maman…” Her mouth was dry as she swallowed. “What’s… what’s his name?”
“Oh,” Sabine smiled. “Bruce Wayne. We met… what was it? Sixteen years ago? Bit of a whirlwind romance, to be honest. This was a few years after he adopted his first son, mind you. But it was─… Marinette?"
Bruce Wayne... is her father.

Really really well thought out story. Love it. I've never watched the show so reading a rewrite of it was interesting and of course I cant compare it to the original, but I can kinda tell what might be different and stuff. I liked the changes the author made.
There were some moments towards the end with Ras and the LoS where the author was building tension and then delaying it in an unsatisfying way that was hard to read through cause I was just left tense with no satisfying resolution or mention of Mari still paying some kind of attention, but I understand what the author was trying to do with Mari's character denying stuff.
It happened earlier in the story too. Not the same way but a break in the action with long pros and background info for Mari that didnt seem to flow right.
Those are my only complaints though, the story is very enjoyable overall. -
