Summary
When walking home from college late at night, Childe encounters a stranger near his residence, wounded and barely clinging onto life. Even with all the red flags that surrounded the situation, he helped the man and took him to his home. However, what should've simply been a one time encounter for Childe ended up blowing out of proportion when he develops a crush on the stranger.

“The loss of my lord’s gnosis has caused a,” Xiao deliberates, a particularly pinched expression crossing his face that would have amused Childe greatly were the subject at hand not Zhongli, “…regression, of sorts.”
Childe prompts, “Regression?”
If possible, Xiao’s expression pinches further, but he doesn’t reprimand Childe for his interjection. “A regression to biological urges that most adepti have learned to adapt to and control by adolescence.”

Summary
Something of a discovery is made in Liyue when an earthquake strikes Huaguang Stone Forest, causing a cave to open up at the base of Mt. Aocang. Researchers discover a man sleeping inside the cave, experiments are conducted but with no results, no one is able to find a way to wake him up. The people of Liyue, neither the government nor the Millelith, know what to do with him and decide to work with the Fatui in an attempt to keep him secure until he wakes up.
He is placed in a hospital for long-term maladies under the care of a particular nurse named Childe. Childe gives him the name Zhongli upon meeting him and slowly, as he grows accustomed to his presence, begins to fall for Zhongli and prays for him to wake up, but he never stops to think about what would happen if Zhongli indeed woke up.

Summary
“Stars that were full of life up end up falling to the earth and landing in the ocean, purely because they were in love with the idea of a vast sea.”
“Wow.” Childe says after a while. “I think I love them.” He completely misses Zhongli’s fond smile as he continues to explain the legends of the starconch, before pressing it near to Childe’s ear for him to listen to the sounds of the ocean.
