Summary
“Over the centuries, House Targaryen has produced both great men and monsters. Prince Daemon was both. In his day there was not a man so admired, so beloved, and so reviled in all Westeros. He was made of light and darkness in equal parts. To some he was a hero, to others the blackest of villains. There can be no doubt, however, that he was viewed by all as a faithful lord husband to his second wife, and the tales of their love echo still across the Seven Kingdoms today.”

Summary
While technically a noble, daughter of a respected member of the king’s small council, you have no illusions about your place. You avoid your Targaryen peers as much as possible, well aware of what games they play. Despite this, the king’s second son, takes a strong interest in you. You manage to cultivate a strong bond with the prince, until tragedy forces you to part.
Upon your return, and reunion with Aemond, you realize you’ll have to abide by set of rules entirely different from those which had governed your childhood, and come to understand something you’ve long known to be true: a shared history has its benefits, and consequences.
