Summary
In the language of flowers, aloe vera symbolises acute sorrow, affliction, bitterness, grief - but a grief that soothes, that heals.
After escaping from an abusive marriage, Kim Seokjin is desperate for independence, a chance to build his own life on his own terms. He decides to fulfil, at last, his childhood dream of opening a flower shop - a rather smaller and draftier flower shop than he had ever imagined, but he’s overjoyed to finally have the opportunity to set his life on the path he had always wanted to follow.
Navigating his new life is hard, but even harder is figuring out his feelings for the quiet, kind, incredibly handsome tattoo artist across the street - but for the first time in a long time, Seokjin is ready for a challenge.

Summary
“Don’t be mad,” Seokjin says. He holds up a bag of takeout. “I just — I need to talk to you. I thought we could have some dinner? My treat.”
“How do you know where I live?”
“I, uh, I followed you.”
“How did you get into my building?”
“I waited for someone to leave and then snuck in.”
Namoon looks at him in disbelief. “Do you not realize how weird this is?”
