Cor Leonis never thought he wanted or needed a domestic sort of life. The fewer attachments, the better. Of course, he never planned on stealing a baby in a moment of weakness, either. And he definitely didn’t plan on escorting a damaged, hungry, and very stubborn 11-year-old girl all the way to Lucis. And he absolutely, positively did not plan on keeping them.
In the chaos of diapers and day care, skinned knees, puberty, school projects, and past traumas, Cor learns a few things about what makes a family, no matter how weird that family may be.

Prompto glances up from his phone, blinking, eyes darting about nervously for a few seconds before settling on Cor. "Me?"
Cor looks at him with a raised eyebrow. "You see any other Argentums around here?"
"Haa, right," Prompto says with a little laugh. "Uh, sorry. You needed something, sir?"
While patching up an injury Prompto receives and then hides during training with Gladio, Cor comes to realise he's not the only one who's been wishing for him to be a father figure to the boy.
