Leon, trying and failing to use his too heavy and entirely overdimensioned cape to choke back the boyish grin already visible on his face, butchers the phrase as well as its intended meaning in true Champion-like fashion.
"How on earth does that matter?" Raihan gawks at his friend and rival as if he’d just shaved his beard off, for once oblivious to the fact that the man is having a laugh at his seatmate’s expense for the umpteenth time in the last half an hour. "Either way, your meal's gonna taste like crap."
Victims? Just the likes of Gordie, Allister, Victor, then some... oh, and the freaking Champion himself.
Culprit? This walking mystery in person of an enigmatic challenger that no one seems to have ever seen a face of, whose origin even most Galarians doubted the existence of, and who's also currently waiting in the middle of Wyndon Stadium's famed battlefield for his final target to arrive.
