Summary
Thomas is a socialite and a model, perpetually single after a string of bad relationships and his friends are sick of his hopelessness when it comes to men. As his thirtieth birthday approaches, one of them (Celebrity Manager, Esther Finch) decides to take matters into her own hands and gets him a Companion.
Wouldn't it be funny if she changed all of his settings to conflict with Thomas' personality? She certainly thinks so.
When Thomas is gifted Edwin on his birthday, he is confronted with two things: 1) Clearly, none of his ex-partners ever actually loved him if this was how it was supposed to be, and 2) He might need better friends.

Summary
What it says on the tin, basically. Just multiple instances of Bucky being hot and also amazing and Sam drooling over him while Sarah shakes her head fondly in the background. Takes place after the events of TFATWS, includes a lot of domestic fluff and some action because the end is set during a mission so there's a bit of angst with like injuries and violence and stuff like that but nothing major. Anyway enjoy these gay people being fucking idiots

“I hear you,” said Sam, rueful. He sighed and tipped his head back, pressing the heels of his hands against his eyes. “But I still kind of feel like I have to save the entire world, if I’m carrying this shield.”
“Sam,” said Bucky, and Sam lowered his hands and opened his eyes to look at him, only to find himself the subject of Bucky’s staring problem yet again. “Let’s just go out there. See who we can help, how."
Taking on the Captain America mantle is all well and good, but unfortunately, it quickly becomes pretty obvious to Sam that carrying the shield doesn't guarantee a paying gig as a superhero—at least, not any kind of job that fits with the kind of Cap Sam wants to be. But when it comes down to it, all Sam wants to do is use the shield to help people, so paying gig or not, he and Bucky set out on the road to do just that, and to figure out what kind of superheroes they want to be. Slowly but surely, they figure out just what kind of partners they want to be too. (Hint: it is not 'just a couple of guys.')
