The first time Aimes saw Dante Reyes, the other man stood stoic, the quiet madness underneath only visible in the glint of his eyes, hidden under the fear and respect the man held for his father. With his shoulders squared tight the man looked both bigger and smaller than he actually was. All it told Aimes was that the man was going to be a pain to work with. Still, he pulled on his best businessman smile as he approached him. "Looks like we'll be working together."

Aimes had to turn the question over a good two, three times in his head to make absolutely sure he had heard and understood it correctly. Dante wasn't even looking at him when he asked it, too absorbed in the most recent Agency intel they'd received, already planning how it fit into the big picture of his plan for revenge. They'd been working together for five years, and this was the first time Dante even hinted towards some type of interest in Aimes.
