Viago de Riva and Teia Cantori were left stunned by Lucanis' news that Rook had been lost to the Fade. They didn't know how they were going to be able to process the loss of someone so important to them both.
(A while ago, I wrote a fic about how Lucanis coped with his beloved Rook being trapped in the Fade prison. I thought I'd look at it from Viago and Teia's perspective, as the man who raised her and her best friend).
