Summary
Anna Taylor is a typical wage slave whose routine consists of working, visiting cafes, sleeping in, playing video games, reading books, running and the other trappings of mundane adulthood.
But at night Anna dreams. She dreams of another self. Of other threads where she plays the parts of farmer, soldier, merchant and whatever else beneath the bright Arendellian sun. And in these dreams, there is always the Princess. There is always the Tree. There is always the Pretender King.
Anna knows them to be nothing more than dreams. That is, until she meets the new president of the company she is employed at. And then, she isn't so sure anymore.
Because there is something both familiar and strange about Elsa Arnadalr...

Elsa Hallvardurs has been born into a legacy of elite mercenaries. Their prowess is known throughout the continent, and their services are highly sought. Elsa's grandfather was captain of an army, her father guards Corona's crown, and her brother patrols their seas against pirates and bandits. And she? Oldest and heir to the ultimate legacy of fighters in Europe? Her task is special. Her task is simple. Elsa Hallvardurs is the bodyguard for Arendelle's royal family, specifically their daughter, Princess Anna. Elsa is prepared to risk everything, even lay down her life if asked. Surely there must be some great threat to the kingdom to to seek out her family in particular. She will shore up the defenses, train the guard, map the hills and mountains and- and.... put Anna down for... a nap?
No one told her that Anna was a toddler, and that her greatest danger was probably her own two feet. Elsa spends her days not in heated combat but wiping carrot mush off her pristine white boots.
