She was dead, there was no mistaking that. Not even her memories could sink it’s claws into NEST anymore. The dead had to be forgotten and moved past. Her items in the barracks were disposed of, the picture in Colonel Lennox’s office and her, himself, and Sergeant Epps was buried away in a box and replaced with a new picture of the Colonel and Sergeant. They made sure the dead were buried, but Satin wasn’t going to be easily buried, because burying the dead is too simple for the complex First Lieutenant. She was sneaky and persistent in life, and she’d stay the same in death. A coffin lid is just another door to open.

When the elevator doors open, they see Kat waiting for them at the doorway to the casino floor. They walk down the hallways and stop in front of Kat. “Is Valentino’s bitch here again?” Husk asks, displeased.Kat grabs the door handle, sighing. “It’s not the bitch boy, but it’s one of them.” She responds as she pushes the door open. “He wants to make a deal with you, one involving your power. He wants all of your casinos.” She explains.

“You don’t mean that,” Husk replies, confident. But Alastor’s grin seemed to grow more, and Husk risked a glance at the half-empty bottle of liquor he had set down.---
