Summary
5 Years had passed since the snap had changed everything for Peter, Tony, and the world. It was a blip that had altered Peter’s reality in fundamental ways that he doesn’t want to think about. He’s been adopted by Tony and Pepper, is enjoying life in Stark Tower with his family, and is hoping the CEO Emergency Transfer Protocol never ever has to be put into place. Things are finally starting to look up, despite that there’s a field trip scheduled to Stark Industries… a field trip Peter really doesn’t want to go on.

Everything Peter has been worrying about comes to pass during the field trip to Stark Industries, and then some. Why Tony and Pepper had ever thought that Peter should be put in charge of the company during an emergency if they couldn’t be found was beyond him.
