   Summary

   Everyone agreed that he'd been such a promising kid before he'd settled. But that hadn't lasted long: his soul had declared herself to be entirely the wrong sort of animal. He was not a home-loving house mouse; nor even a house sparrow, happily rubbing shoulders with his brothers; he was weasel-souled, and that meant an uncomfortable husband.
