Out of all of his boyfriends, Seungmin saw the most. They shared a room, a rhythm. He was the one who watched Felix struggle to lower himself into bed at night, biting back gasps when his back locked up. He was the one who helped him out of the shower when he was too sore to lift his arm above his head. He was the one who saw the tremble in Felix’s hands as he reached for his pain meds, who kissed his shoulder as he peeled off old patches and applied new ones with quiet precision. He was the one who caught him every time Felix stumbled trying to pretend that he was okay.
Felix hated that Seungmin had to see that. Hated knowing the younger carried that worry around with him.
