Dumbledore leaves Harry on the doorstep of 4 Privet Drive less than 36 hours after the attack, and has Professor McGonagall watching the home for at least some of the previous day.
Now there are plenty of people who cite this as the first piece of evidence that Dumbledore is in fact an evil, manipulative b*stard. But that’s not the only theory which explains how Harry ended up on the doorstep of 4 Privet Drive!
